2001 Yamaha Warrior

Custom Quad Built by Clay Forrey Of Sonny Boys Customs in Tucson Arizona. Not only is this bike fast as hell, but reliable too. Clay has put over 2000 trouble free miles on this quad racing around town. Started as a 2001 Yamaha Warrior. Chassis mods include 6" of stretch in the backbone and 6" down. Protaper aluminum Bars. Removeable upper frame tubes. 2 gallon hand built aluminum tank. Custom rearset. 8" over rear swingarm w/ Banshee Durablue axle. 530 o ring chain with 16/45 gearing. Custom grille with working headlights, tailights, and running lights. Bike weighs 460lbs wet. Chassis professionally painted Candy Tahitian Red and looks great, but there are quite a few chips and scrapes from use. Engine is out of a 2001 Yamaha R1 and only had 3,245 miles when installed in the bike. (approx. 5,000 now. 1000cc) Tuned on dyno for sea level and made 96 RWHP. 2001 gsxr 600 radiator and fan. Full Yoshimura stainless exhaust with shortened titanium muffler. Water temp gauge runs inline and is mechanical (never gone over 185 even at the dunes or in The heat of Tucson traffic. Stainless Steel braided brake lines run to front and rear disc brakes. 2 sets of tires/ rims. Sand tires are Dick Cepek 22x12.5x8 with 16 paddles that run on TP polished aluminum rims. Fronts are stock new tires on polished TP rims. Street rims/ tires are 20x10x9 duro Scorchers on stock rims. Fronts are 21x7x10 duro scorchers on stock rims. Both sets are like new. This bike works well on the street and at the dunes, handles well in any situation, not just for straight lines like most others. Clocked at 93mph GPS at the Gordons Well Drags.
