1949 Studebaker Sedan
1949 Studebaker Sedan. Totally rust free AZ car with very straight body panels. This car was restored about 9 years ago but was put in garaged storage a few years ago. I purchased the car and attempted to get it running but soon found out that the engine was stuck. I did not go any further so I am not sure why it is stuck, It appears to have been removed from the car and at least painted if not rebuilt when the restoration was completed. Transmission shifts through the gears fine and it is optioned with overdrive. Brakes are soft from sitting but may just need a good cleaning and bleeding as the hoses look new. E brake works. Most of the chrome was refinished or in very good original shape. The front and rear glass rubbers do not have the seam for the trim, but the trim does come with the car. It also comes with a windshield visor. All weatherstripping was replaced. Interior is in very good shape and only showing very minor wear. The gauges look very nice as well as all of the dash trim and knobs. The paint job still looks good, but has a few chips here and there. I took pictures of the most major spots. There are also 2 darker areas from over buffing or maybe a blend? There are also pics of those areas. I would consider the paint job to be average quality. This is a very nice solid studebaker that with a little mechanical work could be back on the road in no time.
