1969 Porsche 911T modified for competition use as an "R" replica by renowned early Porsche racing specialist Mark Escuche of Ecurie Engineering in Mequon, WI. An original rust free and very straight 911T body was used for the build. Worth a mention were the original R type cars used 911T cars as a starting point. The aluminum 2.0 liter has a bore of 81mm and a stroke of 66mm .The heads are aluminum twin plug by Xtreme Cylinder Heads. It runs a 13.1 compression ratio, the cams are Elgin #314/296/100. The transmission is a magnesium 1969 porsche 911 type with the following ratios : A. GA, K, P, and U. The final drive ratio is 4.43:1. The carburetors are triple throat 46 mm PMO, the fuel cell is made by Fuel Safe, the 5 speed shifter is an elevated tower type with a first gear lock out. The brakees are 1969 Porshe 911s. The body has fiberglass doors, trunk lid, fenders, and bumpers. Widows are Lexan. Runs on 15x6 and 15x7 Fuchs that were just recently refinished . Equipped with a Halon fire system. This car is race ready and comes with a log book that shows it has raced at Daytona, Sebring, Road America, and Watkins Glen. The engine makes approximately 220hp and the car weighs only 1886 lbs. The engine and transmission were just recently freshened up by Mark and have not have a race on them yet. This car was finished to a very high standard of fit, finish, quality parts, and expert builder.
