1966 Alpine Tiger Mark 1A convertible. Same owner from the late 60's until just recently. Arizona car with absolutely no rust or rust repair ever. This Tiger still retains its original paint job code 106 commodore blue. It had a repair performed at one time on the front lower apron that required a clear lacquer finish over the original paint from the fenders forward that has checked. Since then the front apron was dented in once again and needs repair. There is no evidence of any body repair on the fender, nose, etc. The front bumper was rechromed long ago when the repair was done. All other chrome is original and in nice driver quality shape. Amazing body with only some minor dings here and there. The nice thing about an original paint car is that there is no chance of any hidden repairs or bodywork. Very solid floors and trunk. Complete drivetrain is believed to be original to the car.

This car runs excellent and does not smoke. Drives and stops well with the exception of a master cylinder that needs to be rebuilt. All of the lights and blinkers work. Wipers work but need to be lubed up. All gauges function well and are in excellent cosmetic shape. The wood dash was replaced years back with a new one the owner had made and was never varnished. Comes with the original dash as well as tons of restoration parts/ extras. Also comes with the original owners manual and a stack of related materials and books. Guaranteed to be one of the most original, unmolested, and rust free Tigers you will ever find.
