1963 Ford Falcon Convertible
sold
1963 Falcoln Futura Convertible. Very nice solid car with tons of extras. Fresh 302 with less than 2500 miles on the clock. Edelbrock performer RPM intake with new 650 Holley Street Avenger Carb. Mallory electronic distributor with MSD 6AL box. Upgraded Cam, headers, and dual exhaust. Monte Carlo Bar supports shock towers for added handling. New Radiator from "Performance Radiator." AOD 4 speed automatic transmission shifts great and will allow this baby to cruise at highway speeds at a low RPM. New B&M Quiksilver shifter added for looks and performance. The chrome and stainless on this car is original and in Driver quality shape. No major dents, but maybe a ding here or there. Chrome has blemishes from age, but no pitting. All glass is nice and rolls up and down fine. Windshield has a crack where the rear view mirror attaches but it does not extend to either side and is not in my view. Convertible top is power and works great. No rips or tears and rear window is mostly clear with a few minor scuffs. Interior is in very good shape. Carpet is like new. Dash paint is original and has lacquer crack from age. front bucket seats are from a 65 Mustang. Rear seat is original as well as the rear door panels. Front door panels are new reproductions of originals. Custom Autosound stereo with tape deck fits in the original dash hole, pioneer speakers in the kick panels. All gauges work great as well as the lights, blinkers, brake lights, etc. Car was repainted the original light blue metallic around 6 years ago. Paint and body are average driver quality, presentable, but not show quality. Rear floor pans have been replaced. looks like a good job. The lower front 6" of both rear wheel wells were replaced. Rockers are original and look very solid. trunk is original and solid. All gaps on the doors, trunk, hood, etc are great except for a small gap at the bottom of the rear of the DS door as shown in pics. paint job has touch ups from chips here and there. If you look very closely at the top of the P/S wheel well there is slight bubbling and a crack in the bodywork. (very mionor) Car has an upgraded dual master cylinder and disc brakes up front. Rides on new Cragar SS rims and BF Goodrich tires. Overall this car is super solid and very reliable. You would be proud to cruise this baby to shows, or just around town. Ready to enjoy.
