1957 Chevrolet Bel Air 2 dr Hardtop. Full Professional restoration performed 5 years ago and 5,000 miles on a rust free AZ car. Still retains all of its original sheetmetal including floorpans and trunk pan. The only metal replaced was the back half of the rocker panels and they were done nicely. Beautiful burgandy metallic paint job fully sanded and buffed. Door jambs and under hood were finished as nice as the exterior. Flames were done 2 years ago by Jim Moody on top of the base/ clear finish. The gold compliments the burgandy nicely, blue pinstripes highlight them. Quality paint and body better than 90% of the cars you will see at any given car show. Every piece of chrome and stainless on this car were refinished to show quality. All of the glass and weatherstripping were replaced with new. Interior is gorgeous and comfortable finished in saddle Mercedes Leather and wool carpet. Vintage air ac/ heat, power windows, power brakes, and power steering add to the comfort of this bel Air. Powered by a GM Crate ZZ4 engine backed by a turbo 350 automatic transmission with Lokar shifter. 9" ford rear end backs up all that power. All of the suspension was rebuilt with new bushings, springs, shocks, ball joints, and tie rods. SSBC power disc brakes up front. Front and rear sway bars were added for extra stability. Upgraded to a 605 Power steering box. This car has a California boxed frame and one piece bumper. Underbody remains original and was blacked out for looks (no rust here!) Dual exhaust with Magna Flow mufflers. Rolls on Salt Flat Special aluminum rims and BFG's. Same owner since the car was restored 5 years ago. Always garaged and meticulously maintained, he put about 1000 miles per year on this truly stunning 57.
