This car was hauled out of the Sierra Nevada Foothills in the early 90's by a Stockton, CA area woodworker, who spent many years meticulously restoring the wood and car to stock form. The next owner had Tom Johnson of Napa, CA convert the drivetrain to be highway friendly and installed a Ford 302, C4 and Ford 8". The car also sports a dropped front axle with power disc brakes, parallel leaf spring suspension on the Ford 8". Interior has leather seats with third row seating. After mechanical updates, owner took the car to Hawaii for a few years to live a laid-back island lifestyle. After some cruising in Alohaland, the car then changed hands and moved to Arizona. Current owner installed Vintage Air AC and Heat with hidden, flip-down under dash vents. Car has 11,000 miles since restoration. Numerous trouble free road trips can be attributed to the reliablity of this awesome Woodie. Car has CD player in glove box with JL Audio 6" component speakers in kick panels. The wood work on the car is exceptional, as nice as it gets and windows are new glass with new felts. Paint is nice driver quality with minimal wear and very few chips. This Woodie shows no signs of rust repair as floors are inside and out. Under carriage was nicely detailed during it's restoration 11 years ago. I have worked on this car personally for the last 10 years.
This car is a beautiful driver and deserves to be driven down those two lane highways searching for the best surf and grub in the West, not a show car. Don't miss this opportunity to own and drive the ultimate road car!
